Commission
and Discounts
Agency commission: 15% of gross billing allowed to
recognized advertising agencies. *Recognized in-house agencies
must provide complete digital files to printer in order
to receive commission. No commission allowed on mechanical
art preparation or special charges. Invoice terms are net
30 days, no cash discount. Advertisers will be short rated
if within a 12 month period of date of first insertion they
do not run amount of space billings are based on. Advertisers
will be rebated if within a 12 month period of date of first
insertion they have used sufficient space to warrant a lower
rate than that billed. Interest will be charged on past
due accounts.
*Provided payment is made within 30 days of invoice.

Printed by sheet fed offset, saddle-stitched.
Trim size: 8 1/4 inches wide, 10 3/4 inches deep.
The Demolition magazine is know being produced from digital
files direct to plate, eliminating the use of film. We are
requesting digital files to be sent via the instructions
posted at www.demolitionmagazine.com. Disks can be sent
in CD or ZIP format, but we would prefer using the FTP Site.
In either case we will confirm to you the receipt of your
“usable” files. A PDF proof of all display ads will be sent
to you prior to pressrun. Please supply a return e-mail
address for this purpose. A timely response is imperative.

Advertising
Conditions
1. All copy is subject to Publisher’s approval
and acceptance.
2. All accounts not paid in full within 30 days
of date of invoice shall incur a late charge of 1 1/2% per
month
from due date until paid
in full.
3. Should Advertiser fail to fulfill his contract,
Publisher may, at his option, bill Advertiser for any
deficiency based upon the
rate earned upon cancellation by Advertiser. Or, in the
absence of written
cancellation notice, Publisher
may insert the last advertising appearing and bill said
advertisement to
Advertiser toward fulfillment
of contract.
4. In the event Advertiser and/or agency default
in payment of bills, Advertiser and/or agency shall be
totally liable for all fees
and sums of collection, including but not limited to reasonable
attorney’s fees
and court costs incurred
by Publisher in the collection of said bills.
5.
Advertisers and their agencies are solely responsible and
assume full liability for all contents of their
advertisements.
6. The Publisher shall not be liable for failure
to publish or distribute all or any part of the publication
because of labor disputes,
accident, fires, act of God or any other circumstances beyond
the Publisher’s
control. Further, the Publisher
shall not be liable for damages if for any reason he fails
to publish an
advertisement.
7. No conditions, oral or printed in the contract,
order, copy instruction, or elsewhere, which conflict with
the Publisher’s policies
as set forth in this Rate Card, will be binding on the Publisher.
8. The advertising agency and the Advertiser
assume and agree to pay the charges for advertising
published at their direction.
9. Publisher is not responsible for advertising
materials left unclaimed after 180 days.
10. Jurisdiction and venue for any litigation ensuing from
advertising placed in the publication shall
properly lie in Bucks County.
Classified
Advertising
Classified Advertising is accepted in one column inch units
only.
Help wanted or situation wanted ads are welcome.
Cost is $85.00 per column inch. Cost is payable in advance
and not commissionable.
A $10.00 fee is added for all logos, photos, and other artwork
or illustration.
Maximum size for classified advertising is 4" x 2 columns
Business cards are $125.00 per insertion.
Typesetting or other production costs will be billed at
prevailing rates.
Closing
Date, Cancellations
First preceding month of issue. Typeset ads: 10 days earlier
if proof is desired for OK. No cancellations of scheduled
space accepted after closing date.
Production
Costs
Production costs incurred will be charged at prevailing
rates for such things as typesetting, negatives, four color
separations, etc.
Publisher’s
Indemnity
It is understood that the advertiser agrees to indemnity
and protect DEMOLITION magazine from any claims or expenses
resulting from the unauthorized use of any name, photograph,
sketch or other material protected by copyright or registered
trademarks, labels, etc. in connection with the advertising
referred to in any order.
